This is an opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic new nonprofit organization formed to answer one of Humboldt County’s most pressing mental health needs, crisis care for young people. Sorrel Leaf Healing Center is an integrated system of care that will offer mobile crisis response, a crisis residential facility, and an outpatient aftercare clinic. Sorrel Leaf's comprehensive system of care will serve the needs of children and adolescents ages 7 to 18, offering transformative, compassionate, evidence-based and trauma-informed care for young people experiencing a mental health crisis.

We are looking for a new, full time Executive Director to lead Sorrel Leaf through to the Residential Center Opening and into our full operational phase! This position is vitally important to our success, as we now have need for a full time executive director to oversee the construction of our Center and grounds, continue our development work, lead the Mobilr Crisis Response Tead, and oversee the hiring and training of our staff.

We are currently hiring for a Head of Service. This is a clinical position that will both provide clinical oversight for the Mobile Response Team as well as help design and build the clinical program for our 12 bed crisis residential program. It is a dynamic and exciting position for a positive, forward thinking clinician. At 20 hours a week but offering full benefits, this is an ideal position for someone looking to balance supervision and program development with a clinical practice seeing patients the rest of the week, or simply a healthy work/life balance.
